ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability
ICLEI, Local Governments for Sustainability est une association internationale de plus de 1200 membres, composée des gouvernements locaux, des organisations nationales, régionales et des collectivités locales qui sont engagées dans le développement durable.
ICLEI fournit des conseils techniques, de la formation, des services d’information et de renforcement des capacités. Elle se base sur le partage des connaissances et le soutien des collectivités locales dans la mise en œuvre du développement durable au niveau local. Son principe de base est que les initiatives de conception locale peuvent constituer un moyen efficace et rentable pour atteindre les objectifs de durabilité locale, nationale et mondiale.
