Energy Cities
Energy Cities est l’association européenne des autorités locales en transition énergétique. L’association a été créée en 1990 et représente maintenant plus de 1000 villes dans 30 pays.
Ses principaux objectifs sont le renforcement du rôle des collectivités locales et de leurs compétences dans le domaine de l’énergie durable, la représentation des intérêts des collectivités membres en pesant sur la politique et sur les propositions des institutions de l’Union européenne dans les domaines de l’énergie, de la protection de l’environnement et des politiques urbaines, le développement et la promotion des initiatives des collectivités par des échanges d’expériences, des transferts de savoir-faire et le montage de projets communs.
