Conclusion and future perspectives

In this concluding session, Pierre Calame and Patrick Lusson give their analysis on the main lessons learned in preceding sessions and shed new light on those lessons based on their own professional experience. They use, in particular, examples of how the policy of citizen participation was set up in the Grand Lyon metropolis and the Rhone-Alpes region, as well as lessons learned at the world conference on participative democracy held in Lyon in 2007.
