Vocational training: a powerful lever for action in favour of the ecological transition
April 2025
The ecological transition relies heavily on action and, above all, on people capable of carrying out these initiatives: understanding the issues at stake, asking the right questions and implementing responses tailored to a particular region, issue or project. Aware that ecological transformations require skills, guidance and tools, Solagro has developed a professional training programme (NDA accreditation no. 73.31.02105.31), drawing on the experience gained through research and fieldwork over the years. Professional training courses are offered throughout the year by our team, and other courses can be tailored to specific needs, in line with Solagro’s areas of expertise (agroecology and biodiversity, food, bioeconomy, methanisation, bioresources and forecasting, climate issues, agriculture and energy, etc.).

Food - Lead a ‘Workshop on agricultural and food transition’
Designed and created by Solagro, the ’À table! Transition on our plates’ allows participants to project themselves onto the diets of 2050 and become aware of the impact of what we eat on the climate and land use. Solagro offers a video conference training course to help you master the workshop process and learn the different roles of the facilitator. The training will give you all the keys to understanding the issues surrounding agriculture, food and health, and will give you access to useful resources for running a workshop (presentation materials and quizzes, plate cards, FAQs) and to the user community to share your feedback and experiences….

Climate change: how to adapt and prepare?
A training course created in association with the film ‘La Théorie du Boxeur’ (The Boxer’s Theory) to help local authorities reflect on how to adapt agriculture and food production in their area to climate change. How can we measure the local impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss and develop ways to adapt and build resilience in our local areas?

Mitigation and the carbon market in agriculture - Acquire a basic understanding of carbon and greenhouse gases on your farm
Focusing mainly on acquiring skills related to carbon footprints and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on a farm, this training course provides an understanding of carbon mitigation and sequestration mechanisms, as well as an analysis of the main sources of emissions according to production systems. It also familiarises participants with the functioning of the carbon market in agriculture, in particular through the low-carbon label and other existing mechanisms. An introduction to carbon assessment using the ‘jediaudiomaferme’ tool is also included, accompanied by in-depth work to identify the most effective levers for reducing the farm’s carbon footprint.

Climate change vulnerability assessment and adaptation approach for an agricultural holding
Would you like to initiate or support a climate change adaptation approach on one or more agricultural holdings? This training course provides an in-depth understanding of the challenges of climate change in France and its effects on the main agricultural production systems. It will teach you how to mobilise and interpret the resources available on the subject, analyse a farm’s climate vulnerability, and identify the most relevant adaptation levers to strengthen the resilience of agricultural systems to climate change.

Getting started with the Climadiag Agriculture climate service
Climadiag Agriculture is a service available free of charge to stakeholders in the agricultural sector. Very useful for making climate projections, assessing the effects of climate change and identifying levers for action to adapt, it offers a set of indicators targeted at agricultural production, an essential step in implementing adaptations.
During this training course, you will learn how to use this tool, understand climate projections based on the reference warming trajectory for adaptation to climate change (TRACC), and learn how to calculate and interpret the results produced….
The agro-environmental diagnosis
DIALECTE makes it possible to assess the impact of agricultural practices on the environment and to characterise the agro-environmental performance of a farm. During this training course, you will learn how to use the tool and analyse the results obtained. The programme offers you the opportunity to explore: access to a database of more than 2,000 assessments, the creation of agro-environmental references, the assessment of the impact of systems on a given territory (watershed, etc.), and finally the implementation and evaluation (indicators) of appropriate agro-environmental measures….
